Introduction To Beekeeping

Ever wondered what it would be like to be a beekeeper? Fascinated by colony life and want to learn more about the “secret life of bees?” Thinking about how you can help honeybees and all of our pollinators? This class is for those considering beekeeping (the bee-curious) or anyone who wants to learn more about one of our most important insect allies. There will be a short lecture and then you will visit a live bee yard for hands on learning. Please wear a long-sleeved button-up shirt, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Glove and veils are provided. A packet full of resources will be provided to take home.
