We understand that while costs are rising everywhere, incomes might not be keeping pace. This funding is specifically allocated to assist those who view learning as an essential part of their continued growth, but find it challenging due to financial constraints.

By making education accessible, we empower individuals to pursue their dreams, enhance their skills, and contribute meaningfully to society. Financial Assistance for Career Training

• Michigan Reconnect is for Michigan residents 21 and older who do not currently have a college degree.

• The Michigan Achievement Skills Scholarship is for students who have graduated from high school with a diploma or a certificate of completion or achieved a high school equivalency certificate in 2023 or after and have lived in Michigan for at least the year prior to participating in the program. 

• Don't qualify for either of the above? Reach out to your local Michigan Works! Service Center to see if you qualify for other funding or assistance.
