ID : 3629
« back to classes page
ClassGraphic Every trail tells a story and the recently completed Boardman Lake trail has a vibrant history. You will find evidence of the ancient glacial lakes of Algonquin and Nippissing. The planets of Hull Park have their story to tell. Most fascinating of all, the strange tale of Boot Lake, hiding in plain sight, as told by host Jerry Sura, will be recounted in detail. This “stroll” of a cycle ride is 4 miles long and will seek out the hints of Boot Lake, where it is and why it isn’t. Riders will meet on their bikes at the north end parking lot, near the wind generator, at the NMC University Center, at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 21. Allow 2 hours for this bike & learn slow roll through Boardman’s past!
