CourseGraphic New! Get ready for algebra with this four day deep dive into algebraic identities and relationships. You will learn the basis for proofs with intensives into the properties of arithmetic and an introduction to number theory. Learn tricks for solving equations and gain more confidence working with variables. There will be no screens in this class; we will be working problems by hand, playing games, and utilizing hands-on tools to deepen our understanding of concepts. This is an engaging and challenging class for students who are comfortable and competent with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and know multiplication facts well. Course content is based on curriculum from the Art of Problem Solving, popular for promoting math retention and deep understanding of mathematical topics. Calculators are welcome, but not required.
