CourseGraphic New! Do you have the confidence to take care of other people’s dogs? Would you like to start a dog-sitting and walking business? If the answer to these questions is “yes” then this four-day class is for you!
Topics include:
  • Deciding what services to offer
  • How much to charge
  • How to put a catchy name to your business, design a logo, and make a flyer
In addition, you'll learn techniques to connect more deeply with dogs, including how to correctly walk a dog and master the "sit" command, even with older dogs. Most dogs have hind end problems or will develop this weakness over their lifetime. Discover how to assist dogs with these problems. Lastly, for a fun bonus, students will make their own pendulum to use as a diagnostic tool for when a dog just seems “off”.

A prerequisite is to have taken Walk as One: Build Your Connection With Dogs (Level 1). (Class is offered 6/16- 6/18). Students will review and demonstrate the foundational techniques of this Level 1 class and build on from there. Instructor approval required without the prerequisite.
