CourseGraphic New! Discover the world of weaving! You will learn the basics, including how to dress a frame loom, and be introduced to the possibilities and uses of weaving. Experiment with different color combinations and techniques to make patterns and illustrative designs. You can go beyond yarn—bring in fun weft materials from home and the outdoors to experiment with additional materials and textures. Sketch and design your own weaving project! Possibilities are vast, including wall hangings, mini-tapestries, mug rugs, quilt blocks, and more. Weaving is a great way to improve motor skills and think creatively. We will start with hands-on instruction followed by open studio time, and continued one-on-one help to bring your vision to life.
