Intro to Woodworking

Learn fundamental woodworking skills as they relate to cabinet and furniture building. You'll get hands-on experience with essential woodworking techniques, including how to use and maintain hand and power tools. We'll cover understanding wood movement and its impact on your designs, along with the proper application of basic joinery, adhesives, and fasteners. By the end of the class, you'll have an established foundation to build simple furniture and cabinets. Can be taken for credit as CAR 102.
